Tubo began as a pop-up shop in our village back in December 2019. Just a tiny space, a heap of hope, and a lot of hard work.

When lockdown hit, we took a step back to adapt, evolve, and rethink how we could keep the business moving forward. That moment reshaped our path. Now we’re firmly rooted on Sadler Gate, part of a brilliant, creative community we’re proud to grow with.

And we’re not just keeping the vibe going inside the shop—we’re bringing it to the street. In 2023, we teamed up with a fab bunch of indie businesses to launch Love Sadler Gate, a collective on a mission to make our corner of Derby the place to be. From inclusive street parties to curated markets, we’re building something joyful and unmistakably community led.

Oh... and we’re officially Muddy Stilettos Award Winners. Thanks to our amazing community, Tubo was voted one of the best indie shops in the Notts/Derbyshire region and we’re absolutely chuffed.
